Thursday, March 5, was HUNG'S BIRTHDAY!! We pretended to think that his birthday was March 8 instead and kept saying we would go out to celebrate on the weekend, so he really thought we forgot his birthday and kept trying to hint that we were wrong.

So Thursday morning, Chai went for breakfast with Hung, while I went over to the guys' dorm to decorate the room with Tony and wait for them. We had to blow up balloons, which made us so dizzy, and Tony got the bunny shaped balloons which.. as you can see didn't turn out very well. haha they either had really big ears and a tiny face, or tiny ears and a big face.

We also got noise makers and Barney masks to surprise Hung with. Tony was camera man so he had to alter his mask to be able to multi-task.
So Chai kept texting us to give us a heads up and when they finally arrived this was Hung's reaction:
Not very surprised... then we gave him gifts (personalized t-shirts that Chai & I made, which he should be thankful for because the markers we used smelt so bad), and the giant card we made.

We googled "Happy Birthday" in Cambodian and got this.

His cake was mango pudding and we didn't have candles so we used a lighter.. gotta work with what we have =P
