Debbie

Hello!! Well I guess it's my turn after all the "you're so lazy. why aren't you blogging..." SO continuing with the KK trip, on Monday (Feb 23), we woke up early for breakfast and had to leave the hotel at 9 to go to Sapi Island with Gregory (we called him our tour guide but he wasn't really.) While we were on the boat to get the Sapi Island, I don't think Chai was feeling too well, but it felt so good to have wind blowing in your face and having such a nice scenery to look at.

When we got onto the island we had people tell us what activities there were to do and we opted to do Sea Walking first!

We were brought out to a dock in the middle of the nowhere and we had to go down a ladder into the water one by one while they put the helmet on you, which allows you to breathe. It's was quite heavy when they first put it on, but once you submerge into the water it gets lighter. It was hard to equalize at first and my ears kept popping but it got better. OH and before we left the island, they had a little seminar for us telling us what's going to happen and what the hand signals are underwater, and when you wave it means that you need to get out of the water asap, but when I got down I saw Chai and starting waving to her... haha luckily the instructors didn't see. So we got down and had to crabwalk along a rope and got to see fishes and feed them too! The guy gave us food and the fish go nuts, they bite your fingers and stuff. We also found nemo, and saw lots of other interesting sea things. They also took pictures and a video.. which I don't think we realized it was a video so we kept smiling thinking it was a picture... haha it's quite an awkward video.

We went back to the island after that and the guys decided to do diving while Chai & I went snorkelling. We were having so much trouble with it at first that the lifeguard had to help us.. lol but he was really nice. It was a lot of fun until I started getting water in my nose and couldn't fix the goggles to stop that. We tried to see if we could see the guys but couldn't, though the lifeguard told us that when we see bubbles coming up it's probably them.

After that, we had lunch which was a provided bbq meal and decided to go jetskiing next.

We all decided to go on a jetski by ourselves, but luckily for me and Chai we had a guy who rode on the back the whole time. At first it was kind of weird, but it turned out to be a good thing cause if they weren't then we wouldn't have went as fast as we did. Halfway through, Tony's jetski broke down and luckily I was nearby so the guy had to help him fix it so he went on Tony's while Tony came onto mines and I had to bring him back to the dock, but mines wouldn't start up :( So we had to wait for the guy to come back again.. haha Tony is such bad luck. But that got all fixed, and we continued on.. I didn't see Chai around til the end and that's when the guys behind us started to race... haha. If you haven't jetskiied, definately go do it!

After that, it was time to head back to the island and go back to the hotel :( but we made a pitstop to a grocey store

With Gregory.

Here's some more pictures of Sapi Island.. so pretty :)

After getting back to the hotel and showering, Chai & I decided to jump on the beds... haha even though Chai gave Tony a lecture to not jump on his. So we did this for a good 15 minutes and went to the guys room to show them our attempts.. and they got jealous and wanted to try too.. haha here's the funniest ones:
Yes, I know we're not off the bed but we look like we're in the middle of fighting haha
um.. pretty much self explanatory.

For dinner we went to Teppan-Yaki to eat Japanese food. I can't remember too much about it but it was good... especially the green tea icecream!!

We like to play the "skin color" game (no, not power rangers unite, JERICA) because Hung is, or was a lot darker than us, but as you can see.. with all the sun we are getting, we're almost the same tone.

Well that's pretty much what we did on Monday.. someone else, TONY, can go next.
