Since Chai accompanied by Tony have gone out to one of the malls to pick up a cell phone charger and Debbie (probably sleeping) is sleeping, I've decided to post a new post starting from day one of our trip!
As you all know we left for KK on Friday, but on the way to the airport we got the worst taxi driver who drove like an idiot and Debbie and I got major motion sickness, which didn't really go away until we reached KK. We arrived in KK at midnight and there was a mini-bus there waiting for us with my name on a piece of paper. (Oh did I ever feel special =) ) It is there that we met Gregory Lee who worked as a personal travel giude and brought us to a island called "Sapi" later on in the trip, but I'll save that for a later post. The ride from the airport to the resort took about 45 long mins, and the road there was very shady and we all had a fear of them taking us to a dark highway road and chopping all of us up ... hostel style o_O!! In the end we, thankfully, all ended up at the resort safe and in one piece =).
The resort's lobby was really nice and they offered us drinks while we were checking in, which was really good, but I had no idea what it was. After we checked in we were escorted to our rooms, which were side by side by the way. Here are a few pictures of me and Tony's room (The girl's room was exactly the same layout but everything was opposite to ours).

Our beds and pillows were so damn comfortable <33
We were all tired that night and our beds were calling out to us for a good night's rest, so after storming our rooms we all called it a night and selpt like babies.
I woke up the next morning at 9:30am while everyone was still out cold and if we wanted free breakfast, which I did, we had to get it before 10:30am. So I woke everyone up, whom were all a little grumpy, but eventually we were all up and ready for breakfast by 10:00am. The breakfast was buffet style and was the breakfast we would have for the next 5 mornings. It consisted of many things like fried rice, laksa, friend noodles, beef redang(coconut type stew thing), curry chicken, pan fried salmon, steamed boa/buns, steamed fish, beef/chicken satay(kebabs), mushrooms, tomatoes, suasages, meat slices, hashbrowns, bread, croissants, dougnuts, breakfast bread, yoghurt, smoked salmon, peppered tuna, freshly sliced fruits, and to finish it off freshly made juices.
After our delicious breakfast, we headed back to our rooms to get ready for the magnificent pool and beach right beside the hotel, just a minute walk from our room. The pool was very big and consisted of about 5 different parts with different depths. We stayed at the pool for an hour or two and then we found a little caban on the beach side just for ourselves and decided to lounge around there for the rest of the day. It was so hot though, the sand was hot enough to burn your skin if you were not wearing sandles.
