Chai-Ying (is tanned)

sooo what has happened since CNY. hmmm......oh! we went to my aunt's house and celebrated chinese new year with the family. Here are some fabulous pictures!

This is my niece--isn't she the cutest baby in the world?
Hung is jealous of her for obvious reasons. =)

Hmm...now what's the difference between the two... =)

I think this is a Singaporean thing but the first dish to celebrate the new year is called "Yu-Sheng" and it consists of carrots, ginger, fish, etc. You're given a set of chopsticks, and when someone says "GO!" you toss it up like nobody's business!

The tossing got a little intense for us...haha

So after relaxing at my aunt's house, we decided to go down to City Hall for the annual Chingay parade. It was pretty neat...imagine the Capital-Ex parade but just...umm...better.

After that we decided to go to this street dance party thing called "City Alive". For those of you who know me well, you know that I enjoy being a hermit, BUT I'm really glad I got peer pressured to go to this thing. =) There was a dance competition...which kind of resembled the "America's Next Dance Crew" concept...just Asian. The group that won was really good though, lots of flair...literally. haha Here are a bunch of pictures from that night:

Chingay! The event happenned right outside of City Hall...
I don't think Mandel would be cool with that.

The dancing begins!

Debbie, our new and improved Tony, Myself, Hung

A lovely sign that says chingay and something else.

Okay I need to start on my essay. I'm here for school remember! Talk to you guys soon =)

NOTE: i was going to blog anyways, but someone said that if i didn't do it right NOW, he would post embarassing pictures of all of us. TONY.
