Seeing as how most of you are on reading week, I'm going to make an effort to post more frequently!

My communication class doesn't start for another hour, so I'm sitting outdoors and guess what--I have internet access! I love Singapore! This brings back "fond" memories of us fighting for an internet connection in Rutherford or in HUB. Although, if you sit by Bartecca, it's pretty easy to connect to the Business School's network. But you can't always connect when you're IN the Business School. Odd.

We are going to Kota Kinabalu tomorow!!!! It's in the Sabah portion of Malaysia, and in Pernakan (I hope I'm spelling all this right) they have an oranguatan wildlife center. I sooooo want to go! Hopefully the 3 stooges will want to too. I HOPE YOU GUYS ARE READING THIS--hint hint. I'm not overly excited...mainly because I don't know what to expect. The bed sheets better clean...haha who am I kidding, I'm brining my own anyways!

Yesterday night, Hung and I went for a run and ....HAHAH. On the plus side, no one fell into any trenches or anything...=). Anyways, lets just say Hung has 100X the stamina and endurance that I do. It's cause I have child bearing hips. Really...yep. That's what I'm sticking too. Hips.

I should probably get to class. =) Look forward to stories from KK! Wish us luck...lots of it. haha.

Holy! For everyone that was wondering, yes I am still alive and yes I am well. Sorry I haven't posted in so long, but I promise I'll make this a long post to make up for it =)

Actually this weekend, while the other three were off partying and having fun, I went to KL to represent the University of Alberta in a Canadian Education Center convention. So I left for KL saturday morning and arrived there at 10:30am, the fair started at 11:00am, and to my surprise it took one whole damn hour to get to the hotel. I ended up getting to the hotel checking in and walking to the Convention center half an hour late.

To my surprise again, the U of A booth was soooooooo damn packed and busy. There was no time to debrief me and I was pushed into the raging masses and told to answer questions. I was initially supposed to answer only general question which, no one was interested in, and the other girl from U of A was to answer the more technical questions, which everyone was interested in. So everyone came up to me asking all of these questions about A levels and O levels and SPMs and STPMS and Jr. Colleges and AMDs and transfer credits which at the time I had no idea what on earth they were. So just to let everyone know, the Malay school system is really weird. They only have grades 1 to 11, and then they go to something called O levels which is also called SPMs and then they go into A Levels which I Believe are called STPMs. They also have something called jr. college which can also be called pre-u.

Anyways, the fair its self closed at 5:00pm but there was so many people interested in U of A that we were there untill 6:00pm, when they actually had to shut the building down. After the fair, I decided to help process the applications and put data into excel sheets. I would have walked around town by myself but knowing that everyone was probably our with their significant other, since it was V-Day, and a little scared to walk around alone decided to help them as much as possible.

However, before we began the applications we went to go get food, and BOY am I ever going to say again that I had the best chicken in the world that day. There were these chicken chunks/balls hanging on these metal rods and there were three colors; white, red, and green. The girl that I was with ordered a mix with one a each color and they would take the balls and grill them up but them in a bed of vegetables and put this delicious sauce over them. We also ordered garlic and cheese naan (flat pita like bread) to go with it which they cooked right there in front of us. They also gave up a bag of red and green curry. So when I ate it I put the curry into the chicken plate and used the naan to scoop it up, but damn the amount of deliciousness in every bite is undescribable .... yuuuuuummmmmmmm yum! Sorry guys, I totally forgot to take a picture of it =(

After eating, we started with the applications and that lasted until 10:00pm and then we all went to our rooms. I forgot to mention that I was staying in a five star business hotel called Hotel Nikko and better yet everything was paid for WOOHOO! I entered my room and finally had a chance look at it properly for the first time ... and damn it was big and damn it was nice.

So after I took a good look around the room, I decided to shower my self down and then take a nice and warm bubble bath while listening to some Adelle on my laptop =) lol so relaxing lah! Oh the luxury of having a room all to yourself, so much better then the dorm life.

Nothing much happened on Sunday, the same stuff as the first day and then I had to leave for Singapore right away so I didn't have any time at all to explore KL at all.

Today, I had the best 16 hours of sleep! It felt so damn nice, reminded me of my non-stop sleeping habits back home. After I finally woke up, all of us decided to go to a previously visited mall called Lot 1. We walked around for a little and every one bought a thing or two and then ended up in Pizza Hut some how. It's kind of weird though because the Pizza Hut here is really restaurant-ish here. We ordered a set meal for four people that came with two pizzas, one thin crust and the other pan crust, soup of the day, and a drink called mango surpise (Italian Soda). It was overall pretty good but not that great, but we did finished off with ice cream! Tony got a sundae with smarties, whipped cream and vanilla ice cream, Debbie and Chai got an oreo sundae, and I got myself a sundae with peaches, pineapple, peanuts, whipped cream, and strawberry ice cream, which was quite scrumptious.

Also, on a general note, and for those of you who are also wondering as well. I think everyone is starting to secretly hate each other and get irritated easily by each other. But we are also all secretly forming better and closer bonds to each other =) For instance I'm pretty sure the girls are 'angry' at us today for saying that there is a 'school killer out on the loose' and that 'there is a ghost roaming around hall 8' and that they should 'check their ceilings and beds before they sleep', but I'm pretty sure they still love us, and of couse as the famous Tony line goes 'no homo', and I'm pretty sure all of you that know Debbie, will hear her say in thier heads 'I hate you' in that irreplacable tone =) Lol and then there is Chai who seems to think she can take me on when she gets fed up with me... that in which she can't, of course. BUT on the positve side though, we are all leaving for KK this weekend to relieve all of that stress ... or I think thats what we are going to do, wish us luck lol.

so girls and boys, what Tony blogged about is a true story, but I'll give you a little bit of context prior to the incident. I told Tony I wanted to go for a run and he said he was too lazy so I went for a run first and ran to his place so we could go for a WALK. Silly Tony decided he could run in flip-flops...it was dark...and then it happened. All I saw in the distance were flailing arms going down at a 45 degree angle. =(

Nevertheless, I'm glad that you're okay Tonette Koekie Yoekie =)

P.S. We almost made it accident free without Hung this weekend...oh well. lol

Soo..Chai and I decided to be healthy for once and went for a light run/jogging/speedwalking/walking session (more of the latter becaues were lazy people) and yeah it was really good. I like being healthy, it feels good, plus everyone here is dammed healthy and active.

Anyways to the point , as we were running I touched upon some rediculously sensitive issues with Chai and... I just happend to feel a push and...

As you guys may or may not know, in Singapore there are all these "gutters" all over the ground for the rain water and such and i fell in =(

hahaaha, In all honsty yeah we went for a run, and i was wearing sandles (Chai did not approve) so yeah, i was running ahead of Chai (because she told me not to run, psh you cant order me to do things) and yeah i wasnt looking and i fell in =(. Chai was really worried i think she thought i was going to die or something lol.

Hey guys! sorry for not updating the blog as much as we would like but honestly, we haven't been doing much. Lets see, since the last update (which was not done by me) we haven't really done much minus the fact that we went to watch another Uniquely Singaporean movie called The Wedding Game which I believe everyone enjoyed, I think the girls really liked it. Sorry for the not so in depth review of this movie that Hung would you usually give you, but if you want to know what it was about there is Google.

So after that movie, hmmmmm what did we all do, Pretty much just hang out at the girls dorm talking about random crap (which we do a lot... and by a lot, i mean A LOT, like ridiculous amounts time spent there).

Anyways, this week Hung is off the KL by himself to represent the UofA at some info session thing leaving me to deal with the two angry happy girls during Valentines day... Ughhhh. =( hahaha jk jk I love you both.

Luckily the students here had organized some Pub Crawl on Valentines day eve. which was called the Boogie Bus Pub Crawl. It was pretty cool, they took us (all 300 some) to this really nice spot in singapore harbor overlooking the complete skyline. It was really really romantic minus the drunken girls running around. We met up with my Buddies friend who honestly went up and down the whole place saying "TONYTONYTONYTONY" until they found me, hahaha it was nice lol.

So after the introductions and such we went back onto the bus which by now was quite rowdy we were headed to the first bar (AlleyBar) which is a nice small place pretty much like the lounge section at Lux, Long and thin, imagine 300 some kids jammed in there. It was not cool, we got our drinks and then were pretty much rushed out of there towards the next bar.

This is where things got a little interesting. The next bar was in a building on the 6th floor, and only 1 elevator was there so, as you can imagine, everyone tried to cram into the elevator. We ended up catching the elevator the second time around. It was packed and hot, 14 of us in a small elevator....blah... for some reason the lift went to the basement floor, and then just, stayed there. So there it was, 14 people, all hot, sweaty, crowded together in a damm elevator, pretty much groping each other, with a billion lights shining down on us making us even hotter, stuck, unable to get out. But the people who we were stuck with (Americans, British, Indians) were all really nice. I think Chai had a minor heart attack but otherwise I thought it was pretty fun. By the time we got out of there we were herded to the next and final bar. The Mimolette club which apparently was extremely exclusive and only for well known "connected" people. It was in the middle of the damm forest at the end of 2km hike up the hill (thank god for shuttle buses). It was again packed as hell, but as everyone started to get their drinks, the crowd started to thin out and we could finally enjoy our selfs. The music was okay, until someone requested the milkshake song, ughh... People. nowadays eh? (Picture below is Debbie, who "couldent" walk because her foot hurt, shes going to stab me now =P Great)

Anyways! It was valentines day yesterday! Happy Valentines day people, hope everyone had an awesome time and made some babies! or what not.

I ended up taking the girls out for dinner (not really, more like the girls took me out but for the sake of my masculinity I'm going to say i took them out =D) We ended up going to Holland Village and going to El Patio or something which ended up to be a really nice place with great service and awesome Mexican food. Or we were just hungry. (Churros with ice cream was dammed good)

After having some drinks, (we all drank) and devouring our food...NOM NOM NOM, we headed over to WalaWala for their live music, and it ended up to be the same person as before singing. It was a nice night, ordered some more drinks and (I) got pretty tipsy. A good Valentines day indeed.

Anyways I think thats pretty much it, just a lot of drinking this past weekend, I blame Valentines day. Oh wells. I guess thats it?!
