Hung

Yesterday all exchange students had orientation. We went to grab something to eat and met a few fellow exchange students in the canteen. After we set off to find the room where the orientation was taking place. Who knew it would be so hard to find? We got a little lost but soon after we saw a massive group of foreign students and followed along. We eventually found it ... long after we were all sweaty and gross. The orientation was followed by a quick tea reception, which oddly enough didn't have any tea, but a fruit punch, pasta, fish tempura, dumpling, turnovers and dessert...?!?!

After the orientation, it literally took us ... oh I don't know ... 3 HOURS!!!! to finally decide on what to do. I suggested we go eat a watch a movie, which everyone, by this point in time didn't even care, quickly agreed on.

The contender?
Lady Cop, Papa Crook

The Verdict?
It may have been that we were all very tired but we all agreed that the movie was crap pile on top of more piled crap. However, the movie did feature some pretty good music and Sammi was a great actress none-the-less.
The movie theater itself, named the "Golden Village" was really weird. They didn't really have a lobby and the you can only enter the into the actual auditorium 10 mins before the movie starts. The evening tickets were going for 10 SGD and the seats that you are sitting in are assigned to you. The auditorium was pretty small and in a a single level that slowly rises for te people in the back. The sound system in it wasn't very good, a lot of static and I thought it was overly loud.

We also ate dinner before the movie at an American style returant named "Swonsens" ... I think. They served a variety of sanddwiches, burgers, pizza, and baked rice.

Chai got some Vegetable Baked Rice

Debbie had a Salsa Burger

I had an Ultimate Beef and Egg Burger
And Tony had a Pepperoni and Cheese Pizza

Nobody complained so I guess the general opinion is that everything was good ... Really GOOD! Tony and I finished dinner off with a Banana Split and a Wam Bam Yam Sundae, which was also really good as well!

P.S. VOTE FOR ANGELINA, YOU KNOW SHES BETTER!!
